Had a chance to get out of the house and play some paint ball yesterday.
Me and a couple of guys went to Weekend Warriors here is my review.
We got there as the place was opening and helped set up the air bunkers on one of the tourney fields (by doing this we got free air for the day)
The field in split into many smaller fields.
The first field we played was a woods ball type field with lots of trees some brush piles and some man made structures. It had pretty good size to it and would be for 6 on 6 to 12 on 12 type battles. All in all a fun little field.
The second field was another woods ball field but trees were alot more spread out. It had some small brush piles for cover and a base right in the middle with 2 large entries and many windows not really any where to hide inside most likely set up for attack and defend. This was probably my least favorite set up as the cover was very minimal and made it hard to maneuver.
The next field we played was the tourney field we set up as all the other people at the field breaked for lunch. Basic setup not really my game but used it for some quick games to get some trigger time.
Next field was by far my favorite. It was a field that consisted of some mounds and lots of trenches with a few large diameter tubes you could crawl in if you wanted to. Probably the biggest field there. Trenches were all 2 to 3 feet deep which allowed for easy maneuvering and you could get to all parts of the field using the trenches.
Next we played on another tourney field made with the large tubes for bunkers nice setup got to have quick feet to move on this field.
This wouldn't be a great place for large groups of people to go and play with and against each other but great for medium to small groups to go. I think it would be a great place for a team practice as there are lots of different types of fields so you can work on many areas of your game. Lots of teamwork and communication opportunities.
Prices i think were pretty reasonable I paid a total of $55.
$45 for paint Draxxus field paint. worked great I didn't have any problems with it.
$10 entry
$10 for all day air(I got free for helping with setup)
All together a good day of paint ball
