Greetings all. A friend of mine has re-sparked my interest in paintball and I am in the process of trying to catch up the the times. The sport has changed in the last 20 years. I was taught that more than 3 balls per minute was a waste of paint, and I only packed 20 extra balls for my 10 shot pump pistol. Now, I watch kids throwing out 100's of balls just hoping to hit someone. Part of me wants to complain, but the other half is screaming... Where do I get one of THOSE guns!!!! I am still researching markers and other supplies, but I am looking forward to getting out and playing with you all soon.

Welcome to the forum. There are still people who believe in single shot kills. I have noticed that when I set my gun to single shot that I get more hits than when I use full auto....lol. If you have any questions about gear, guns and such, don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to meeting you in the field.

Welcome to the forum. I agree with you on throwing hundreds of rounds of paint. My A5 has an RT and I can put out about 8to 9 rnds. a sec. Although I rarely do. Most of us also carry Taccaps. which only hold 40 to 50 rnds. Some of the guys from ORTAC carry 460 rnd. hoppers for heavy cover fire and taking out whole squads. I guess its a personal preferance. The way games are set up today for the reality of it you need different weapons and styles on the field. But being able to unleash that much paint is awesome. The weapons have come so far in just the 3 or so years Ive been playing. So keep an open mind and look forward to seeing you on the field.
