I'll have to find out more but, I heard of a private field like shreks. The people I guess are always looking for more to play. I can't remember where exactly or the name of the place. Anyone know of any places down there just in case it's already been mentioned. I'll try to find out more but it didn't sound like something you would have known about.

Oh, I was not sure. If I remember right those guys had some funky rules anyway. So that means there is another group down that way?

Hey fellas, I'm from eugene and I have a bunch of guys that I try to organize to play at our local field and at all the big games up north. Last time we all got together to go up to warpaint there were nine of us so there seems to be a decent turnout when we organize. The local fields have turned out over 20 people at one time and we had a blast! There is a field in Cheshire called Chucks. It is a private field with a tight speedball type course but with more obstacles and a pretty decent woodsball area. 15 minutes east of junction city is the field. There will be a game held there this sunday from noon to 5. Here is the link to his website. www.myspace.com/chuckspaintballThere is also a group in cottage grove called guirilla warefare. I havent been to this field yet but I will be going there this summer. They are a small group that meets 2 weekends a month and has a pretty good field I am told. I personally am looking for a team to join here in the eugene area. A scenario team that practices at least twice a month. Ive got about half a dozen guys that would be willing to play at the drop of a hat if anyone is interested in coming to eugene.

I hate to resurrect but has anyone been here at all? Either Cheshire or Guerilla Warfare?

Yeah, Ive been to both.
Cheshire is basically CQB on a field full of pallets and big white milk jug looking things. Chuck (the owner) tried to make some sort of a woodsball field but it really needs more work.
Guerilla warefare is a better field in my opinion. It is however, on a hill so one team is at a disadvantage unless they are a better team. It is a pretty good woodsball course.
3 bucks for unlimited air at guerilla warefare and it's pretty cheap at cheshire too.

Do you know if either of them offer rentals? Trying to find something local/cheap for a team building party for work. Also how would one get ahold of Guerilla Warfare?

Your best bet would be to contact Paintball Palace in Eugene and have them supply rental guns and see if they will supply CO2 as well. Then go to chucks in cheshire to play.
