Ok, so i just finished a rough draft of what all the parts on the gun are going to look like, sadly though internet was down for about 2 hours after i got back from my interview at Wendy's, and the only computer in the house with a card reader is in my parents room. so i'll upload pics tomorrow. The base marker is a Jt-Usa Tac 5 'recon'. the barrel i have on it now is a tiny 4" spyder barrel. and screwed into that is a 14" a5 barrel.(for some reason the A5 barrel wont go into the actual jt but will go into the short spyder barrel thing) anyway this is the real thing

Oh its just something i started doing when posting things like this, that way if someone wants to qoute a specific picture or something then they can just qoute the one block instead of everything. before i had the rough draft pictures up i had there a 'reserved for rough draft pics' I just finished making the final handgaurd and hopefully the final stock. after i make sure those are all sanded down and nice i'll stain them, and toss it together and post up some more pics. shrek, do you know if they make a nice big 5 roundish clip for BT's? cause i know that they'll fit the JT.

How many coats of laquer did you use? It may take a little steel wool and a couple more coats to get it nice and smooth.

Yes I would recommend a few coats. Make sure to let each coat dry fully before adding the next.

ghost i would say to clear the oils off with alcohol isorprin 70% should work thatn do like 3 coats of laquar or a heavy varnish with light sanding in between coats with a super fine grit sandpaper

well i got all the wood smoothed out but the stock broke again. so the wooden stock will only be on for show i guess, good thing i have a plastic fixed stock for it. it's gonna take some time for me to figure out how to make a stock that will attach and not break.
