Yeah that tommy gun convert is cool but O.M.G. who has that kind of money? The cheapest M-1 carbine stocks I have found (in a half hearted search) were $65.00 for the stock, $179.00 for the folding version, $15.00 for trigger assembly and mags. for around $20.00 for the 30 rounder. If you wanted to go with a modern plastc/nylon stock the price drops considerably. I like the looks of the wood myself.

O.K. so update, if your interested I am thinking maybe HK instead of AK. I have been looking around and for some reason right now you can get G3 parts extremely cheap. I found a complete parts kit including, stock, de-milled reciever(upper only, but not cut!), Mag. and a whole bunch of other usefull stuff for $60.50 plus shipping. I think if I can get that same deal or close to it on payday I'm going to pick one up. I will post updates as I know more.

That's a great price. Definately post progress reports on this project if you do end up trying it
[edit] If you need a hand tracking down paintball parts for this thing let me know

I am definitely going ahead with this. When payday rolls around again the plan is to purchase the G3 parts then after I recieve them I will have a better idea what type/size marker I'll be trying to fit in. I'm hoping for a Tippmann product, but if I have to I will sacrifice for the sake of making the end product look as real as possible.
