Had a great time at Filthy Town. I love the mud and watching people fall.....lol sorry Boss Hog.. The first 3 games I played combat photographer. The best part about that is being in the middle of the battle, watching ambushes take place, getting hit and not having to respawn. I got 90+ pics and a few vid clips to post up later. Game #2, I was following Rehab and his squad toward the flag. Rehab throws smoke and lands it perfectly allowing Snake to run and grab the winning flag. Shrek sees the smoke and knows they are going to rush in......he sees snake making his suicide run and empties his hopper on him. I hear snake mumble pitifully "I'm dead, I'm dead.....but I got the flag". What's better than observing a painfull paintball death.
The next 3 games were even better than the first. The rain was pelting everyone. Drenched with rain and covered with mud, no one could see well through wet, fogged goggles. Not to be deterred, the battle waged on. The first battle, I pushed right to flank the tower and crawling through the jungle, I saw a red armband. Oooohhh....he doesn't see me at all so I throw several rounds through the dense brush, he turns on me but misses and finally takes a few hits. I push forward down the creek and find a spot to cross over, through the creek and crawl up the nettle covered bank. Now I'm behind enemy lines, half blind trying to radio my team not to shoot me when I hear pop, pop, pop. I turn around to see skinner on the other side of the creek....lol. He was following me trying to get me the whole time, but his balls were coming up a little short......lol....too far from my medic I go to the next objective.
The rain, dense jungle, mud, and smoke make such realistic battles. As always, thanks to the Filthy Few for all the hard work and kick ass field and to Rich for allowing us to play there.
Hey Skinner, sorry about making you drop your smoke.....LMAO....hahaha
