What can I say. This weekend was one of the most humbling weekends for me as I got to show everybody how big of a city slicker I am lol. Here's the list of things that I borrowed/got help with: - Hillbilly and Kreeper towed me out of the mud. THANK YOU GUYS. I was the only one that got stuck on Saturday - Batman loaned me some sleeping bags and a pillow. All I remember is stressing out about packing enough clothes and in the end I forgot my bag - Blackbird and Nancy hooked me up with breakfast and some hot water in the morning - Rehab let me borrow his backup A5 on Sunday when I couldn't get my gear together in time As for the games, this was the second game put on by the few and even with all of the hurdles, they managed to improvise and put on one of the best games I've been too. As usual, the people that showed were top notch characters as well as shooters. Saturday was a skirmish that broke out before the actual full blown war on Sunday. It was clear that the military were more organized and that the Browntown band was made up of some serious hard core guerrilla fighters. We made a hasty plan to grab the #1 checkpoint and to hold it which would deny the military any opportunity at all to take any other objectives. When the horn blew, our advance squad sprinted up haphazardly and forced the opfor to take cover while we pinned the flag and claimed it for our own. We had all of the high ground and we pretty much held half of the field while our snipers stopped any advancements on the other half. At one point we lost our tank to the opposition and they were able to pin the #1 flag for literally seconds before we retook it. In those few precious seconds, their man at the #2 flag was able to hang that flag and force the match to end in a stale mate - 1 to 1. After the dust settled we started battling again. This time for the #3 checkpoint. The opposition was able to hang #3 and #4 simultaneously. Sharpshooter and I think it was Shadowz finally broke through and took over the high ground and at the same time we got the tank to fight for us and they mowed through the low ground all the way up to the military's front door. They were never really able to crawl back from that beating, but for some reason, all of us were so busy kicking booty that we forgot to go and pull the flags and claim the territory. Duh... game 2 ended in a stalemate again. I decided to wuss out on the night game as the terrain was dangerous enough to move over during the daylight. It seemed that pretty much all of the Browntowners had the same idea and the Mayor was forced to recruit unit 88 to fight for him. This ended up costing us dearly on Sunday though as unit 88 ended up taking Hillbilly as their human payment and tortured him all morning until he was a mindless zombie and ended up fighting against us all day Sunday. Sunday the battle moved into the brush and we went from mad dashes over open terrain under automatic gun fire to slow creeping through dense bush and close one shot kills. I've never had so many one shot kills before, but I definately got served with the same treatment just as many times in return. The fighting was intense and getting seperated from the group meant not only having to deal with the Military, but also the band of mutants that Unit 88 had released. At one point, one of these mutants passed in front of me at what had to be 5 yards. I let him have it in the back, but some gas was released and the next thing I remember is suddenly finding myself at the medic station and everybody is telling me that I threw a grenade onto the mayor's foot. Woops... Later on during the battle, I get word that our mayor (AZ) is a pedaphile and half of our army deserts because of it. The rest of us that continued to fight went down eventually, but we went down fighting The only thing missing was having you guys there too, but man you missed a GREAT game. I loved all of the weird little side plots and of course the gun battles. At one point all of the players were crammed into what couldn't have been more than 100yards with respawns at either end and smoke so thick it was had to breathe. I watched one of our guys nut up and run right through the gauntlet and get plastered. Next time he did it, I went right in behind him gun blazing. After my front man went down, I ended up getting hit from both sides by sniper fire, but it was a rush ;D

Really glad so many stayed with all the setbacks. True warriors! That was Metal Mike my long time friend that kept running into the "Gauntlet". What a crazy bastard. I remember see him and two others go running into the smoke fireing. You guys dissapeared and all we heared was alot of shooting and yelling. Then you guys all came back lit up. One of they great memories Ill keep from that game. I had a blast all weekend long. Sometimes overcoming inconviniences are what makes for some good fighting from dedicated troops. I know everyone was beat and wet come sunday but stuck it out. Also gunning in the tank was an awesome experiance. Of course we didnt stick to just conventional tank tactics. So those of us there need to start rethinking tank killing stratigies.

PART 1: Some highlights that really stick out for me: Day one, The Tank was a really unexpected bonus, that thing was awesome. The work and pride of crafting that beast really show. THE HILL omg what a bit*h that thing was, I think my legs are gonna leave me later today because their tired of the abuse. Right at the start I went running down the road (not very fast) I managed to get (Ithink) a couple of good shots in before being forced to take cover behind the truck. That was sweet of you guys to let me use your truck like that lol, Hope I didnt break any rules. After the start of the game(I'm not sure how long after) AriZona made an excellent big nut move and headed down the road to our respawn, not wanting it to fall I did my best to take him out, in the end it was I that died, but I went down shooting and it was a hell of a battle! Metal Mike diving head first into huge woodpiles then coming up firing. Way to go man, you have got to be the craziest guy on the field that day. Losing our Red respawn. Tripwire, Redd and myself were down the side of the gully moving along the treeline towards Blue base or flag 5? not sure which, when we heard that our respawn had been taken. As we were sneaking around the back to reclaim it Tripwire and Redd chased a ghillie sniper around a log pile where I was so I gave him the good news and moved on towards our lost spawn. With my wife Redd at my side I moved rapidly to where the little gully was in front of the Red spawn. I crept up behind the biggest tree I could find, carefully peeked around to where I had a good view and waited for the other ghillie sniper to come out from his cover. I could see what looked like my entire team on the other side of the road with their hands in the air. I wasnt sure exactly what had happened there so when I leaned out to pick off the one guy I knew for sure was enemy, I put a few rounds into the crowd also. Turned out to be a wise move because the Filthy Few were right there and I didnt know their status at the time. I rolled out to the right just in time to avoid the rounds that they swiftly sent my way. Thankfully my wife that I had forgotten about didnt forget me, and was right there backing me up or I think my goose would have been cooked! She took out one while I got the other. That was really a great feeling! I will post more later, gotta take care of the Bat-fam for a while. I think they actually missed me! PART 2:A few more highlights; Night game, I sat this one out for combat but participated by spotlighting as many combatants as I could find from the hillside above the battle. Memorable moments include hearing BACON shouted out repeatedly, then hearing "GREASE is the secret code" shouted out just as loud. I looked at Rehab standing next to me and we both started laughing, saying "well it used to be secret!" that was some funny doo-doo! There was one guy on the field that night who had some sort of reflective tape or something like that on his blouse, not finding him easily with my light speaks well for his night-ops ability. I could tell you he was moving around quite a bit,but only located him once or twice with the light. If that was you, good job hiding, but get rid of that stuff for night-ops! Another thing that sticks out from that night is the miraculous run that someone pulled off, stealing the glow sticks and making it all the way back to their base. I personally spotlighted almost your entire run and its amazing you made it back alive! You truly ran "The Gauntlet". Nothing to do with the battles, just remembered this though; Even after being forced to switch sites, I gotta say that when we rolled in late Fri. night, That camp was so cool with all the props and the tank and whatnot, The Few really pulled that off nicely! If they hadnt told us they moved that camp, I dont think anybody would have even known. More later, gotta unpack gear now. PART 3: Day two, mid afternoon, I had just grabbed the hand of destiny and Snake, Silent, Skinner, Ed, and myself were heading down the trail towards our spawn. Snake was on point Silent on his six, Skinner, Ed and myself were following at what we thought was a safe distance. One of the ghillie snipers (Noah?) was patiently waiting alongside the trail and as the tail of the group passed he sprang from his concealed position and barrell tagged me while grabbing Skinner from behind and (I think) attempting to shoot Ed. Skinner had grabbed his barrell and was fighting back, this gave Ed the chance he needed. In what looked to me like a very Chuck Norris move Ed dove headlong to the ground rolling away from the two and in the same fluid motion double tapped the sniper with his Tac-8. Very cool Ed! More as I remember

Who ending up winning? Sounds like maybe the military took the honors.

The Military cushed the Rebellion, gained controll of thier base and is currently looking to restart it's testing program.
Unit-88 has gathered a rather large army, they are currently uncontrollable and unable to locate...they pose a significant threat to the entire human race.
Brown town has been compleatly sacked, most of the popluation is dead or jailed... Mayor James Brown is in hiding and on the run from not only the law but the remaining Towns Folk after it was dicovered he was a pederass.

Possibly, but trust me we have a whole slew of battles planned throughout this year as well as Amphibious War-Fighter part2 before we get back to this one.
