Hey all,
I just wanted to say I had a great time running with you and Gen Shrek. Shurp and I had to leave Sunday morning to get back home to our families so I'm sorry I missed the final day. I hope it went great. I had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and really had a great time hanging with all the PB'ers from around the N/W again.
Thanks again to Shrek and Spike for volunteering to General this event. You two are the tops...
L8tr............. Pacman
(BTW - we got home around 7-30 PM our time - sucks that we gain an hour coming back this direction...)

Americans won 4375 to 4115. We rocked the Viet Wrong and owned the field most of the weekend, but as we all know with mission based scenarios, owning real estate doesn't always bring in the points. Those damn "fluff" missions can easily turn the tide on who takes the win at the end of the day.
The first day started out great with perfect weather and several kick ass teams ready to receive orders. Since the American XO was a No Show, I stepped up to fill the role. Knocking out the missions and keeping shrek focused was a lot of work, but tons of fun. And when our CP was in danger of being over run (only twice all weekend), I quickly secured all intel and hid while our CO went into deep cover. Most missions went flawlessly because of the efforts of our well disciplined teams: Triad, OpsBat, Side Of Beef, Reaper Army, Walkons, and 19 Delta, as well as a several outstanding individuals who led squads and ran mission cards. You guys did such an awsome job all weekend, we would not have won without your efforts.
The night game I had to stand down, feeling like I might toss my cookies.
Second day started out with rain off and on, but our troops pushed on and played hard. We made a few hard pushes on the VW CP and set some malaria infected Killer Bees on them. The bomb that was planted and remote detonated was my favorite. The second day was kind of a blur. Fighting nausea, it was all I could do to keep up on sending out missions. The last half hour of the game, the VW made a push on our CP. With our intel and CO secure, they managed to make it into our base. But they threw a sachel charge in and forgot to pull the flag to their color. Then they had to make a hasty retreat because we were making a final push on their base as well.
The final battle was awsome. I went out armed with my camera and went straigh down the middle, taking hits from both sides. Shrek was invincible and was a human meat shield allowing the American troops to move across the winning line and bunker down to secure the win. Final battle score was 16 VW across the line to 36 Americans across the line....Hoo Op. Props to Shrek the ultimate Bad Ass General. I'll try to post pics of the "shrek machine" later, he who could not be taken down...not even by Montydoom's Double T.
This was one of the best TAW games I've been to so far. Both sides played with honor and there were very few complaints all weekend.

Just to clarify a little, the final attack on the American CP ended before the flag was switched was because the refs made us fall back for reasons I still am unaware of. But like Fiona said awesome time even though my commie ass had to fall back to Cambodia

Animal's Minion ROCKED! Shrek good job love you big guy. by far the most fun I've ever had on the scenario field. Thanks J-Bolt and the rest of the Walkons for letting Badger and I run with you. Spike great job! And all the rest of you V W's good job, Great sportsmanship, and just a good bunch of guys and gals to trade paint with. I was so Impressed with sportsmanship on both sides, only a few misunderstandings that where quickly resolved. See you all at the next one and hopefully allot of new faces too!

I was busy hiding our intel far from base. ~Fiona

I caught the red eye down to california yesterday and survived a day of meetings without falling asleep somehow. I'll write more later when I'm back home in a few days, but Hannibal and Lumpy, Sunday kicked so much ASS running with you guys. My only regret there is that we didn't get to run into JBolt's squad more often and that Spike was chained to the command post. So many people to mention and funny stuff that happened. Timberghost, you're always up front in the thick of it. I even took a few pot shots on you by accident. Good thing I have really bad aim ;D
Team suppressor if you read this, I had a great time as your medic Saturday morning. You guys are top notch and this is more than just from a paintball perspective. Hopefully that's not the last I see of you.
Shadowman and Smeed walked away with great loot and exactly what they needed which made me happy.

Thanks Deeno. Don't sweat it, that stuff happens I am used to it, especially when I can't restrain myself. Guess thats why Homer dosent want me to be the team medic anymore.
