There was about 50+ players there. We played about 5miles east of Bend. The field was rolling hills with natural rock bunkers and the field was plenty big enough for that size of group. Most of the ORTAC crew was there and the Sage Rats paintball club was there in force. The first game was a re spawn game with a one hour time limit. There were 30 objects to recover and take back to your base. Some of those objects were live paint mines that you had to disarm but not set off to count as points for your team. A lot of paint was shot. Our team took the win barely. We had squad flank there base and at the last minuets of the game they emptied there base of objects witch put us in the W column. The second game was a helo insert game. Kind of like the Vietnam war. Our team was the insert force. Our helo was a 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 witch could transport 6 troopers at a time. Our goal was to take three strong points. The time limit on this game was 2 hours. This was one of the most intense games I have ever played. We have to make some of the ORTAC games this year. They are bring your own paint and air. And there all scenario games of one type or another.

That sounds sweet as all get out. I wish I could have made it. I did absolutely horrible the next day with the local guys here. They play a couple fields that resemble more a speedball course than a woods or scenario style course. The really only fun thing about it was that I really liked all the people there. They were all very agreeable people and I think if they got a taste of our style of play would make some good people to play with. You would start a game and in no longer than 10 sec you were already throwing paint. Woods speedball. I suck at speed ball. Anyway I got all their e-mails so I will invite them to the next game.

Those were some of the best battles ever! Still scared to ride in the back of a truck to this day.
