So I've got an Invert Mini that I love. It's my first electro and I love it so much that I converted two others to Minis. With that, I had it laser etched by the guys that do the SuperGame dogtags (BNS Paintball) with my old group's name. Since that group died in a fiery ball of imploding suck, it's been a bit of an eyesore whenever I played. I found Ott Hydrographics one day while I was surfing Craigslist. Got in touch with Kyle, talked to him, send him pics of my Mini, and with a $20 deposit, I dropped my Mini off. 10 days later, I handed him another $15 and got my Mini back. I stripped out basically everything but the poppet (because I didn't think about it until too late) and handed it over. Got it back and it looked HOT. Put everything back together, held my breath...and everything sealed up and fired without problem. There were a few extremely minor negatives...I had to pry the middle plate off the body (because the clearcoat had sealed the two pieces together), but they came apart and didn't really damage anything. If I'd been thinking, I would have scored the joints with an exacto knife and they would have probably come apart without any issue at all. All in all, I'm super happy with it. I'm considering having him dip my newer Phantom, and possibly a mask or two. If I pick up the Axe I've been eyeing, I'm *absolutely* going to have him dip it. And now...crappy cell phone pics until Kati can take better ones at AA this weekend!

So only $35? Nice. I'm curious how it will hold up against wear.
Can you put on any image with dipping?

It's holding up fairly well. A few dings from where I wasn't really paying attention and it banged against something metal, but all in all, still looks fantastic.
As far as any image...not so much. You've got to find a hyrdodip film that can be used. Most dips are camo of some sort, but they've got other designs that can be done too.

If you want custom stuff it might be easier to annodize or laser etch.
